We have moved to new Glasgow city centre training rooms – at Ingram House, 227 Ingram Street, Glasgow G1 1DA. Our criteria when searching for a new training centre were quite strict – we need to be in the city centre, as close as possible to public transport and parking locations to ensure people travelling from outwith Glasgow can get to us easily. Training rooms need to bright and comfortable learning environments so natural daylight and air conditioning was important.
Ingram House is at the end of Ingram Street, between Queen Street and Miller Street, near the statue of Wellington adorned with a traffic cone. A New York Times article describes Ingram Street as “confidently Glaswegian and instinctively international”. Just one block from George Square, we are in the very heart of the city. Glasgow Queen Street Train Station, currently undergoing major refurbishment, is just a minutes walk away, and Glasgow Central Station is a couple of minutes away. There are plenty bus stops nearby and parking at NCP Glassford Street, Buchanan Galleries and St Enoch all close by. For those travelling in from outside the central belt of Scotland there is a Mercure hotel on the next block, and an Ibis Styles and Travelodge both around the corner.
Ingram House is a refurbished traditional merchant city building, now fully accessible with lift access to all floors. Toilets and kitchen facilities are on all floors.
We have also upgraded our training room facilities for the move – purchasing new desks, chairs, screens etc. for a total refresh. Training course attendees will enjoy bright freshly decorated rooms and will be able to focus on learning new skills sitting on ergonomic adjustable chairs with armrests.
Breaktime refreshments include a large selection of Twinings Tea, Nespresso Coffee (pods are recycled!) and a range of quality snacks.
